Sammy Startup is a children’s book dedicated to the entrepreneurial spirit inherent in every child. Targeting 2-6 year olds, the series follows a young, entrepreneur named Sammy as he leads a team of talented toy managers in creating and cultivating new business ideas.  As each new idea takes hold, each member of Sammy’s team become animated for the possibility of starting a new business.  

Author Bio

The author, Jason Harvey, is a native of Los Angeles with 3 boys and a girl.  As an entrepreneur himself, Jason has started a few companies with a tested business development framework of coming up with an idea, planning for success and executing flawlessly.  While searching for relevant books for his kids, Jason recognized a need for books that taught entrepreneurship while telling wonderful stories that inspire.  Instead of sitting back and waiting for a book like this to be written, Jason decided to create one himself.

Illustrator Bio

Saxton Moore is a professional award winning Animation Director/ Creative Visionary. Saxton has almost 20 years of experience producing animated content for the biggest entertainment companies in the United States. He started out as one of the leading visionaries that helped build and start Cartoon Network. At Cartoon Network he helped develop the leading shows and the marketing material for the Network. Saxton has also worked as a Creative Director at American Greetings and recently founded Pixel Pirate Studio where he develops entertainment properties for books, web sites and television. Pixel Pirate Studio now has multiple projects that are in production and are reaching fans all over the world.
